About Alan J. Tindell

Alan J. Tindell is a 1992 honors graduate of Gonzaga University Law School and entered the bar that same year. He has been in solo practice in Benton/Franklin Counties area since 1994 emphasizing family law matters. Alan received a Master of Business Administration degree in 1986 from Arizona State University and his bachelor's degree in comprehensive business and economics in 1984 from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. He is an alumnus of Outward Bound and enjoys whitewater rafting throughout the Pacific Northwest. Alan is also very involved in community theater productions throughout the Tri-Cities area and appeared as an actor and singer in many productions, including 'Jesus Christ Superstar,' 'Medal of Honor Rag,' 'Bus Stop,' and 'Picnic.' He is a past board member of the Columbia Basin Veterans Coalition and the Richland Players Community Theater. Alan was the attorney in the first paternity case in world legal history involving the scientific phenomenon of human chimerism. This case is the subject of the Discovery Health Channel documentary "I Am My Own Twin" and has been profiled numerous other times throughout the world. Alan received the Benton/Franklin Legal Aid Society's Al Yencopal Award in 2006 for his work on this case.
